Happy New Years! 2017 was great, but 2018 Is going to be epic.
December was another great month. This month we surprised our son and took him to great wolf lodge for the night. Yes he freaked right out. The wife is now done work as we wait for the time to rush her to the hospital for the arrival of our little girl. Shes due January 13th, but could pop any moment.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year. While its always crazy busy, I enjoy hanging out with our friends and family and watching my sons face light up the morning Santa comes. On the 27th our Solar Panels finally got hooked up and are now generating energy for us to sell to the grid!
Dividend’s this month set a new record, Google decided to pay me (Thanks to all of you) and we made over $1000 in passive income for the first time! Yes you can say it was a great month.

December 2017 Purchases
I made a post how I wasn’t going to make any purchases this month. Fortunately our Tfsa still accumulated $1000 by the end of December so we added to Corus Entertainment to start the drip and lower our dollar cost average.

I can’t stress how much this community keeps ya grinding! Creating the website was one of the best things I did in 2017. So to summarize we brought in over $500 in dividends in a month for the first time. The website made some money for me! *Popping Bottles* And our passive income totaled over $1000 in a month for the first time. Things are tony the tiger GRRREEAAT!

You might as well start monetizing its easy – google adsense. Is a good start. I have about 24000 views but some of that income was from my old youtube channel as well(which is still bringing in some money)
I keep thinking of writing a post about what i do for the website, what i should of done earlier and what im going to do. Maybe that will be my next post (saturday) im sure i would also learn a thing or 2 from the feedback.

Magnificent! 1k in passive income is great. Your passive income in 2017 is awesome too. Something I should try to follow. You mentioned adsense as a source of passive income. I barely manage few cents a month. I don’t think I can treat it as an additional source of income. I am still interested in investing in solar farms.

Haha pci rocks….. thats great. Made me laugh. Thanks geek. 2017 has been good to us. Ahhh adsense is a set it and forget it thing. Dont cut it up too much though. I think adsense brought in 20 bucks last month and the site is bringing in more traffic each month on average. The solar farms are worth looking into, always nice to have some diversification in assets.
